I agree this is issue is more about peaceably sharing sidewalks and making our neighborhood feel like home. I can’t believe that the Community Board Chair, Christopher Olechowski, thinks he can be an effective district leader when he can’t even control one board committee’s outrageous position. Where’s that leadership?

By not taking the reins firmly in hand at the community board, which he’s supposed to be leading, Olechowski has contributed to phenomenal ill will in the community. Is this the kind of district leader he’ll be? Is this how little he cares about infighting in the community? He’s remained on the sidelines watching things get blown out of proportion while doing nothing to promote a positive outcome. Ideas? None. Action? None. Leadership? None.

He’s all talk and no kielbasa.

if the ferry company truly loses money on every rider, then, logically, they should want lower ridership to be able to lose less money and/or shut down (these are businesses, not charities, right?)

otherwise, as a business, they should be seeking to make deals to improve ridership or modify services and move to profitability.

unless the operator is a philathropist, there must be another incentive for them to be running a business that loses millions a year with no projections for profitability in the future.

everyone must be getting paid here or we’re not seeing the whole picture

Yes, i live right next to this warzone, and robots mating is exactly what i think of. Though the robot lovers have taken apart most of their nuptual bed, and i have an awesome view of the water now, i cant help but wonder what will take the place of this con ed facility.
